With his entrepreneurial background and his expertise in re-imaging shopping centers, Paris Zarrabian founded Plaza Mayor, LLC with the intent to utilize his unique abilities to economically revitalize and re-image assets for the company's clients.

Paris Zarrabian's background in real estate started in 1972 with the conversion of a condominium complex into a full-service hotel that expanded the property to include executive suites and guest rooms, a full service restaurant, a swimming pool, tennis court, and spa facility. Mr. Zarrabian's expansion boasted an increase in revenue five fold from prior levels.

In 1984 Mr. Zarrabian commenced the acquisition and redevelopment of shopping centers with the goal to improve the shopping environment and increase the amount of time shoppers stay within the center. In turn, tenant sales increased, and the centers gained a competitive advantage over other centers in the area, including those centers that were better located. This modernization and re-tenanting of the centers gained tenant another center, his intent was to re-image the center to a first-class, triple A center. After the renovation, the center's architectural appeal and its utilization of innovative technologies gained wide recognition from the community and the shopping center industry. In 2001, the city awarded Mr. Zarrabian with a Top Honors Award for Beautification. Paris Zarrabian graduated from Bournemouth College in Dorsett, England in 1975 and is an active member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC).
